Shindano la Nne la Stadi za Kufundisha kwa Walimu
The Tanzania Institute of Education (TET) invites and encourages teachers who teach Pre-Primary and Standard One in Primary Schools, and Form One in Government Secondary Schools in all councils of Mainland Tanzania to participate in the fourth teaching skills competition for teachers who teach Pre-Primary and Primary, and the second competition for teachers who teach Form One in secondary schools in the subjects of Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Business Studies, and the mastery of early reading skills and demonstrate mastery of basic English language skills.
How to participate
• A teacher is required to prepare a 10- to 15-minute lesson plan that focuses on building student competency in line with the enhanced 2023 curriculum and save it in PDF format.
• Use that lesson plan to teach students in class.
• Record a video of the lesson being taught.
• The taught lesson must observe the use of participatory methods aimed at developing 21st-century skills.
• The recorded lesson videos shall be submitted to the Tanzania Institute of Education through the link: https://tie-teachers-competition.vercel.app/
• Videos will start being received from 9/12/2025 to 30/1/2026.
